Day 1 - Sarajevo

Accommodation in the hotel upon arrival. After some rest at the hotel we will have an organized city tour trough Sarajevo. Sarajevo is the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the biggest urban, cultural, economical center of B&H. It is known as the „European Jerusalem“, because of the fact that in a radius of 200 m, you can find a muslim mosque, rimocatholic Cathedral, an Ortodox church and a Jewish sinagogue.

We will be happy to take you trough the city and show you some of the most important historical sites and monuments: The Library, the City fountain, Baščaršija, the crafts streets, The Cathedral, Old Jewish temple, Gazi Husref-beys mosque, hammam, library, medresa, The clock tower, The National theatre, National museum, The assasination place, The Emperors mosque etc. After the city tour, arrival to the hotel. Free time for individual activities. Overnight.

Day 2 - Sarajevo-Mostar-Sarajevo

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast departure to Mostar. Mostar is the largest and most important city in the Herzegovina region. It's situated on Neretva river and is the fifth largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (natively: mostari) who have guarded the Old Bridge during medieval times. The Old Bridge is one of the city's most recognizable landmarks and under the protection of UNESCO.

You will also have the opportunity to see the Koski Mehmed-pasha's mosque, Turkish hammam, Clock tower, sinagogue (1889.), Nesuh-aga Vucjaković Mosque, Hadzi-Kurt Mosque, Metropolitan Palace (1908.), Karadjoz-Bey's Mosque (1557.), Ottoman Residences (16-19th century). After sightseeing, You will have the chance to taste Herzegovina specialties in a local restaurant in Mostar. After lunch you will have the chance to visit Pocitelj, an old pass keeper on the banks of emerald Neretva river. This excursion will also take us to Buna springs (Blagaj) – the strongest spring in Europe that takes out more then 45 000 liters per second. Buna springs is the home to the most famous dervish convict (tekke) in the Balkans. Learn why we in Bosnia call Herzegovina „There where it never snows, there, where it is never cold“. Departure to Sarajevo. Arrival at the hotel in the evening. Free time for individual activities. Overnight.

Day 3 - Sarajevo-Travnik-Vlašić

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast departure to Travnik. Travnik is a city in central B&H, famous for being the capital city of the governors of Bosnia from 1697 to 1850 and having a cultural heritage dating from that period. Trough the city tour you will be able to see the house of Ivo Andrić who won the Nobel prize for literature, the Suleimania Mosque, the Clock towers, the Travnik Castle, Blue water, the Old town etc. After sightseeing departure to Vlašić mountain. Vlašić mountain is located in central Bosnia. It's highest peak is Paljenik (1933 m), the Vlašić plateau is 1300 m high and is very well known for its tradition of preparing the Vlašić cheese. Have a slow walk, hike on the hiking paths of Vlašić or have a picknick in the famous Babanovac area of the mountain. Arrival at the hotel in the afternoon. Free time for individual activities. Overnight in hotel Blanca-Vlašić.

Day 4 - Vlašić-Bihać

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast departure to Bihać. Arrival at the hotel in Bihać. After a short break we will have a city tour. Bihać is a city and municipality on river Una in the north-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The area of Bihać was populated by the tribe of Iapydes as early as the 8th century B.C. The Iapydes left many remains tha testify about their presence in this area. During the 2nd century B.C. this area was populated by the Romans. It's in this period that the river Una was given its name by a Roman soldier (lat. Una – one, unique). City served as headquarters for the partisan army of Josip Broz Tito, the seat of the first AVNOJ session in 1942 and the center of the anti-fascist resistance. During the tour you will be able to see the Captains tower, The Bihać tower, Fethija mosque, The Bihać fort etc. After the tour free time for individual activities. Arrival to the hotel. Overnight in hotel Emporium-Bihać.

Day 5 - Bihać-Sarajevo-Spring of river Bosna

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast departure to Sarajevo. Arrival to Sarajevo in the afternoon. After a short rest in the hotel, we shall visit the Spring of river Bosna, located in the southwest of Sarajevo. It is one of the country's top natural landmarks and is one of the most famous scenes of natural beauty in the region. Free time for enjoying the city and shopping. Overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 6 - Sarajevo-Igman

Beakfast in the hotel. After breakfast departure for a visit to Igman mountain. Igman is a mountain in central Bosnia, located southwest from Sarajevo. Igmans highest point is 1502 m, which makes it one of the lowest Sarajevo mountains. Igman is a popular destination for hiking and skiing in winter. During the 14th Winter Olympic Games, along with Jahorina and Bjelasnica mountains, Igman was one of the main mountains where the games were held. There is still plenty of facilities on Igman dating from that time, but most are destroyed during the war (1992-1995). Have a slow walk, hike on the hiking paths of Igman, or have a coffee or tea in a local mountain style coffee house. After the excursion departure to Sarajevo. Arrival in the afternoon. Free time for individual activities. Overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 7 - Visoko – Bjelašnica mountain

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast departure to Visoko. Visoko is a city in central B&H of rich historical heritage. It was an early centre of Bosnian medieval state and the site where the first Bosnian king Tvrtko I was crowned. In Visoko there is a homeland museum which exhibits the cultural and historic heritage of the Visoko area, and Bosnia. Most of the exhibits are related to the medieval Bosnian state, because the Visoko valley (Mile, Biskupići and Mošte) was once the center of the Bosnian kingdom. You will also have the opportunity to see the extraordinary Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, which represents the biggest complex of pyramidal structures in the world. It consists of Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun (with its height of over 220m, is bigger than Cheops Pyramid), Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon (190m), Pyramid of Bosnian Dragon (90m), Temple of Mother Earth and Pyramid of Love (www.piramidasunca.ba/ar/). After the Visoko tour, we can (optional) visit Bjelašnica mountain. Bjelašnica is a mountain located southwest from Sarajevo bordering Igman mountain. Bjelašnica range is bordered by Raktinica river on the south and Neretva river in the west. Only 30 minutes distance from Sarajevo, Bjelašnica is a popular tourist attraction for hiking, skiing, and pik-niking place in summer. The mountain is also popular with mountain bikers and has become recently a frequent base for paragliders. Bjelašnica mountain was one of the 1984 Winter Olympics mountains and hosted the men's alpine skiing events. Have some rest in the nature, have a walk in the fresh mountain air or a tea or coffee in one of the local coffee shops. Arrival to Sarajevo in the afternoon. Free time for individual activities. Overnight.

Day 8 - Sarajevo

Breakfast in the hotel. The seventh day of the tour will be a free day for You to enjoy and try to discover all the secrets of Sarajevo. If you still do not know where to go or what to see, we recommend you the Sarajevo art galleries, The Gallerie of Contemporary art ARS AEVI, the gallerie of the Kuršumli medresa, Galerie of the Academy of Fine Arts, Galerie New Temple, Galerie Mak. If you are not that into art, you will have a big opportunity to go for shopping in some of our shopping centers, BBI, Alta, Wisa, Interex, as well as a lot of shops on the pedestrian zone. If none of these meet your needs than you could go for a slow walk trough the city center, where you will have the opportunity to taste the „local life“, have a bosnian coffee in some of the local cafe shops, or try our local traditional food. Departure to the airport at scheduled time.

Day 9 - Sarajevo

Breakfast in the hotel. The seventh day of the tour will be a free day for You to enjoy and try to discover all the secrets of Sarajevo. If you still do not know where to go or what to see, we recommend you the Sarajevo art galleries, The Gallerie of Contemporary art ARS AEVI, the gallerie of the Kuršumli medresa, Galerie of the Academy of Fine Arts, Galerie New Temple, Galerie Mak. If you are not that into art, you will have a big opportunity to go for shopping in some of our shopping centers, BBI, Alta, Wisa, Interex, as well as a lot of shops on the pedestrian zone. If none of these meet your needs than you could go for a slow walk trough the city center, where you will have the opportunity to taste the „local life“, have a bosnian coffee in some of the local cafe shops, or try our local traditional food. Departure to the airport at scheduled time.
